Description
Deity Meditation (Deva-Yoga) is an important aspect of Vajrayana Buddhism. The essential Buddhist teachings of Calm-Abiding (skt: samata, tib: zhi-gnas) and Special-Insight (skt: vipasyana, tib: lhag-mthong) are practiced within Deity-Yoga in a unique way. Through its profound view the practitioner penetrates into the true nature of all experiences deeply and swiftly. Khenchen Pema Sherab Rinpoche will confer an empowerment on Chenrezig (Avalokitesvara-The Buddha of Compassion) and will explain the principles of Deity-Yoga in that basis. Khen Rinpoche will also be leading a guided meditation session on Chenrezig.
The Empowerment will be according to the Namcho Cycle of Treasure (Terma) Teachings. The participants can henceforth meditate upon Chenrezig and recite the Mantra OM MANI PADME HUM HRI as a meditation practice with clear understanding.

Khenchen Pema Sherab Rinpoche will confer the empowerment of Guru Rinpoche according to Namcho Cycle of Treasure (Terma) Teachings revealed by Terton Migyur Dorje, a great yogi of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism. This empowerment belongs to the anuttara-yoga-tantra (highest yoga tantra) class of Tantras.
Admission for Padmasambhava empowerment: RESTRICTED.
Participants should be ready to take on practice commitments and be willing to abide by Tantric Samaya (vows). Please contact the center for details.
