Description
Lopon Sonam Tsewang will teach on the four foundational principles that characterize any Buddhist world view. These four are not a religious practice system in itself or a dogmatic belief system, but these can be arrived at through observation and reason. All the practice systems of Buddhism begin on this foundation. The four seals were taught by the Buddha right in the first turning of the wheel of Dharma. He went to deeper levels of these principles in subsequent turnings. Finally, the Buddha taught about our true nature, the Buddha-nature, in the third turning of the wheel of Dharma. Even the teaching on the Buddha-nature is consistent with the four seals.
